How it works

The Probe Sensor is set up on the driveway or in any area you want to monitor.  The Probe sensor has a detection range of 3 metre either side of it The sensor is designed to detect anything metallic, so it will ignore people and animals. Because the sensor detects metallic items, it will not be triggered by moving trees or shrubs.  The Probe is normally buried under the drive (approx. 100mm) and has a  15 metre cable connected to the Transmitter box which is mounted on a post or tree.

The kit has a range of 800 metres (0.5 mile) between the sensor and the receiver.

What else do I need to know?

• The sensor (on the driveway) is powered by 4  x CR123a batteries.
